Work in a case

The work happens in the assistant. Grok, Claude, or ChatGPT. You talk. The assistant searches, writes, and sends, with your connections.

The console is not where you keep the case. It is for your accounts, and for the people who run the workspace.

A case holds a subject you want to keep. The messages, the files, the exchanges. You come back to it in the same conversation.

The workspace of the moment

You work in one workspace at a time. It is the same one as your connections.

If there are several, tell the assistant which one to use. You do not need a new conversation for that.

Look something up without opening a case

Ask for the mail, the record, the file. The assistant answers from your connections.

That does not create a case. A case starts only when you ask to keep the subject, to attach something to it, or to work on it.

Open a case

Say so. For example: keep this, open a case for this client, attach this message.

The assistant opens the case and gives you its title. The first piece attached becomes the subject. You can change that by saying so.

Then, in the same conversation:

  1. Ask to add a note, a document, a message, a record.
  2. Ask to read a piece, to write, to follow up, to send.
  3. To finish, say that it is done, or that you are dropping it. The assistant does not suggest that on its own.

There is no screen to fill in. If a connection is missing, the assistant says so. You add it in Your connections, then you come back to the conversation.

Invite someone

Say who should join the case, and whether they can change it or only read it. The person is already in the workspace.

The assistant writes to them. The message brings them back to the case. If they already use an assistant with Mitogen, the message can also open that assistant.

If the message does not leave, the person is still on the case. The assistant tells you. You do not send the message again yourself.

What stays

Removing an account in Connections does not remove what is already in the case. The case stays. Acting through that account does not.
