Capture and open

You are on one item. A message, a record. Capture puts it on a case, or opens the assistant on it.

The work continues in the assistant. See Work in a case. The console is only where you install Capture, once.

The gesture is the same in the browser and in Outlook.

Install it

Open your name, then My account.

Chromium capture. Choose Download extension. Add that file to Chrome or Edge. In Firefox, it is the same Capture, once the add-on is in the browser. The windows are the same.

Outlook capture. Choose Download manifest. In Outlook, add it from a file.

The first time, open Capture and choose Connect. You allow Mitogen. You can close the tab.

If an account is missing on the tool, go through Your connections.

Put the item on a case

Open the item itself, not the list.

1. If Capture tells you to open an item, you are not on it yet. If it says there is nothing to capture, this page is not an item it knows.
2. When it is ready, New Case opens a case with this item. Add puts it on a case you can change. Search helps when the list is long.
3. If several accounts could match, pick the connection.
4. The item is on the case. If it was already there, Capture says so.

If you have several workspaces, the name Workspace is in the window. Pick the right one before you put the item down. It is the same one as your connections.

Open the assistant

When the item is already in a case, the window lists it under In these Cases.

On the case, choose Open in, then Grok, Claude, or ChatGPT. The assistant opens on that case. Next time, the button uses the same assistant. You can pick another.

If it is not in a case yet, put it there first. Then you talk in the conversation.
