Mitogen

Your connections

A connection is your account on a tool the workspace has already opened. Mail, Odoo, files. You link yours. You do not open the tool for the whole team. That is done in Run the workspace.

The name under the tool is the one an admin gave the binding. It tells the doors apart, when there are two.

Where to go

Open Connections.

If you have a seat, a counter next to the title shows how many connections are in use, out of how many the seat allows. The detail is in The seat.

If nothing is open

The page then says that no connection is available to you. An admin has to grant access. You cannot do that from this page.

Link your account

  1. Find the binding, under the tool name.
  2. Choose Connect. If an account is already there, choose Add an account.
  3. Follow the screen. Depending on the tool, Mitogen sends you to Microsoft, or asks for the address and your key. Use your own sign-in. It is not shared.
  4. Come back to Connections. The account appears under the binding name.

The counter moves up by one. A connection that asks you to sign in again still counts.

When you need to come back

The Reconnect badge means the tool no longer recognizes the session. Choose Reconnect, and do the same step again. Cases are not erased.

Remove an account

Choose Revoke on the account row. Confirm.

You will no longer be able to act through that account on this binding. Sources already placed on a case stay. The place on the seat is free again.

If the row is disabled

Disabled means the seat no longer covers this connection. Most often, the plan was removed. It no longer counts toward the limit.

When a seat is there again, and there is room, choose Re-enable. One connection at a time.

If the limit is reached

The page says so. A new account is refused. Remove an account you no longer use, or ask for a wider seat. An admin sees a link to the offers. A member does not.
