The seat
A seat is a person's plan, in one workspace. It decides how many connections that person can hold at the same time.
Without a seat, connections do not stay active. The console says so: a seat is required.
The owner and the admins assign seats. The gesture is in Run the workspace. This page says what the seat covers.
The offers
Four offers. The number is that person's connection limit.
- Standard. 3 connections.
- Power. 8 connections.
- Extra. 16 connections.
- Max. 32 connections.
The price is written in Billing, per seat and per month, before tax. You choose the offer and the quantity.
The limit belongs to the person, not to the tool. Two accounts on the same tool count as two. One account and one mailbox count as two. Only the total counts.
What counts
A connection counts while it is in service. Even when the screen shows Reconnect.
It stops counting in two cases.
You choose Revoke. The account leaves the binding. The place is free.
Or the seat is removed. The row becomes Disabled. It no longer counts. With a new seat, and if there is room, the person chooses Re-enable, one connection at a time.
The buttons are described in Your connections.
Add seats
Open Billing, then Add seats. Choose the offer and the quantity.
Assignment happens in Team. Assign seat, or Change seat.
An invite can carry a free seat. If no free seat of that offer is left, the page says so. Add some, then send the invite.
The counter
In Connections, next to the title, you see how many are in use, out of how many the seat allows.
At the limit, a new account is refused. Remove one, or move to a wider offer.
