Run the workspace
This page is for the owner and the admins. A member links their accounts in Your connections. They do not open the workspace tools, and they do not invite.
Three places. Modules, to open a tool. Team, for people and seats. Billing, to add seats.
Roles
The owner holds the workspace. They invite, assign seats, open modules, and see billing.
An admin does the same day to day. Team, modules, billing, seats.
A member can see the team. They cannot invite, change a role, or assign a seat. They work in cases, and they link their own accounts.
Open a tool
A binding is the door to a tool, for the workspace. The personal account comes later, on the member's side.
- Open Modules.
- Choose the tool, then Get started. If it is already open, Add a binding.
- Follow the screen. It asks what identifies the tool. An address, an organization, a library. That is not the member's account.
- Give it a Name. Save. This is the name members see in Connections. Pick one that tells the door apart.
- Under Access, Grant the binding to the people who should use it. Without that access, the person sees an empty page.
Removing the binding revokes the accounts that were linked to it. If it was the last one, the tool returns to the catalogue.
Invite a person
- Open Team.
- Choose Invite.
- Enter the address, the role, and a free seat. If no free seat of that offer is left, the page says so.
- Send invite.
The person joins this workspace. If a seat is missing, add one in Billing, then come back. The gesture is described in The seat.
Assign or remove a seat
On the person's row: Assign seat, or Change seat.
Remove plan disables their connections. They no longer count. With a new seat, the person turns them back on one by one in Connections, if there is room.
